We offer 30 years experience in design, specifying,
furnishing, installing, maintaining and monitoring of standby and load
management generator systems. Our expertise ensures a properly sized
system that will provide 25 to 30 years of useful, reliable service. If
you are in need of 7/24 monitoring
of your existing systems or new equipment, we are your solution.
In talking to customers over the years about their
frustrations with generator systems and other remotely located,
un-supervised critical equipment, their biggest complaint was they
didn't know anything was wrong until the equipment failed to operate
when needed. With generator systems in particular, 85% said
if they could be notified in advance of problems that would prevent the
unit from starting, and once running, anything that would cause it to
shut down, they would feel much better about the system reliability and
it performing when needed.
The other thing we learned was nearly all equipment manufacturer offerings required some type of hardwire connection, were way too costly, required expensive software, dedicated computers and were not very user friendly. They were also very costly to repair and required a highly technical person to troubleshoot for repair.
Based on this information we set out to develop a simple, low cost, feature rich, user friendly, monitoring system that would warn the customer of all conditions that would prevent equipment from operating and warn them of any condition that would cause the equipment to fail once operating. We also designed a web based, user friendly web portal that works in conjunction with the hardware and is accessible from anywhere. To date, we have never removed a system because of an unsatisfied customer.
Keeping it simple was our goal and is the key to a reliable monitoring system. Even though we designed the hardware to receive analog inputs to allow for reading temperatures, pressures or fluid levels in gallons, we promote using dry contacts rather than transducers to keep the cost down and increase the reliability. As an example, if you had a 500 gallon fuel tank and wanted to be notified when the tank was at 50% capacity, we could install a low fuel switch at half the depth of the tank and send you a message warning of a low fuel level, gallons remaining and an estimated remaining run time. To do the same thing reporting fuel level in gallons using a transducer could cost $1,000 or more. The low fuel switch would cost approximately $150 and provide the same information. The same holds true for alarming temperatures and pressures.
We do offer a Modbus capable version to integrate with manufactures
digital controls and building management systems.
The purpose of our monitoring system is to provide a means of instant (within 15 seconds) notification of events or alarms that may occur in your emergency standby generator systems, pumps and other remotely located critical equipment.
