One of the biggest
comments we hear from customers about standby emergency
generator systems is; we didn’t know anything was wrong until we
needed the system to perform. This is true a lot more often
than most people realize. Most generator systems sit behind a
building or at some remote site with very little to no visual
checks or test on a regular basis. Surprisingly, the number one
reason for generator systems not starting and performing when
needed is the battery, or battery charger. The number two reason
is block heaters during cold weather.
Generating Solutions
has developed the most comprehensive, reliable and user friendly
generator monitoring and control system on the market today. We
have spent over 30 years in the power generation business and
used a lot of that knowledge and experience to develop our
system. Most generator manufacturers offer systems to monitor
their equipment but not other manufacturer’s equipment. Our
system works on any type of generator or transfer switch.
Monitoring outputs do vary by manufacturer, but all the major
monitoring points are usually available.
